Pilot Plant Engineers
Your tasks
Safely operate and monitor pilot-scale comprising reactors, distillation units, and other chemical processing equipment
Record and analyze data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes incl. safety
Collect and prepare samples for laboratory analysis, and interpret results to make necessary process adjustments
Collaborate with maintenance technicians and engineers to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions
Work closely with process engineers, chemists, and other team members to execute experimental plans and scale-up activities
Communicate effectively with team members across shifts to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of operations
Your profile
Engineer FH/Univ. in chemical engineering/process engineering
Minimum of 2 years of experience in chemical plant operations, preferably in a pilot plant or research and development setting
Experience with chemical processing equipment, control systems, and instrumentation
Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, standing, and working in various environmental conditions
Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
Commitment to maintaining a high standard of safety and quality in all aspects of the job
Good knowledge of the English and German languages
